Sure, but you need an operating system. Here’s a graphic to help you decide.
If you don’t know any of these symbols on the bottom left, just download and install ZorinOS
. Or Mint. Gotta start somewhere. But for some people, a Chromebook is all they need. (Mine runs Kubuntu instead of ChromeOS.) Important: I just stole this graphic, it’s just meant to be funny but with a lot of truth in it. I would recommend many other distros ahead of Fedora or Debian, for instance.
If you’re really choosy crows, you can go to Distrowatch’s search page and put in your particular preferences in the filter. Here’s another good distrochooser but when I tried it, it came up Gentoo and I know that’s not right. I’m currently rocking KDE Plasma, although I started with Mint and think it’s best for most people.
So crow did you get your answers..... :)
I’d show you a screenshot of my PC, but all it has is the slideshow of my photos. No shortcuts, icons, buttons, or blinkenlights which you need to find anything in Windows. Ugh. You probably know people who have a screen full of shortcuts.
